The Ashton Hope Keegan Foundation will be hosting their Inaugural Stiletto Stampede 5K Run/Walk, “A unique event in which you must wear a stiletto on your person to participate in the race but not on your feet.” Make it fun, get creative! We will have stiletto beads available to wear. The proceeds of the race will fund technical scholarships and grants for materials support to help further our mission to break the cycle of generational poverty for women in the Athens area.
After the race there will be plenty of refreshments and great food for everyone.
Whether you run or walk, come join us for a great time at Sandy Creek Park.
We will have the 80’s Inspired Party Band Mighty McFly for entertainment.
REGISTRATION: $25.00 Registration before January 14th includes one entry for the 5K & t-shirt and entry into Sandy Creek Park. All preregistered entrants are guaranteed t-shirt and while supplies last on day of race. No registrations allowed on Day of Race! Warm refreshments will be provided at registration.
Awards: Medals will be given for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, Grand Masters Male/Female and top three Male/Female winners in age groups beginning 10 and under through 60 and over. Complete results will be available online within 24 hours at classicraceservices.com
