May 2019: Awarded two scholarships to women in the Athens Community Career Academy to start their technical training.  By all accounts, Annsley Patterson and Karmen Hill are inseparable in school, and giving scholarships to both ensures they can continue to support each other as they further their education!

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Athens, as well as the leadership of Athens Technical College (Antoine Boynton, Dr Andrea Daniel, and Mary Roundtree) for their support of education in this community!

Carmen Hill received two scholarships – one from the Ashton Hope Keegan Foundation, and the other from the Rotary Club of Athens Foundation. Carmen will study Early Childhood Education, with a long-term goal of pursuing a career in clinical psyhchology.  She is already dual-enrolled in both Athens Community Career Academy and Athens Technical College; these scholarships will allow her to transition to a full-time student at Athens Tech after graduation from ACCA later this month.
